'The Poetry Channel'

Postby John Harrison » Thu Mar 04, 2010 9:34 am

Since I added the blog about The Poetry Channel not using my work, they have kindly got back to me and said they have changed there mind. And so I have removed the blog from here, for the matter has been resolved. 'The Rock' will now be shown. And I have respect for them hearing what I had to say and then realising I was right and it did have worth to be there. I Thank Sam below for her response too.

The Link to the Poetry channel below and 'The Rock' on it is below. Also sometimes when you stand up for yourself the other person realises you where right and its sorted out. I am so pleased with their response to me today and have full respect for them saying they had made a mistake.

John,
I have to say that your poem the rock is brilliant, maybe the problem is that it connects to a very small audience or makes others feel uncomfortable because they do connect to it and don't want to, the old elephant in the living room syndrome. Your poem so accuraetly describes what ppl don't realise about people who have been abused that everyday is a trial to face the world and challenge the way that we have been condiitoned and moulded by our intense emotional experiences, so you carry on!
